Testing & Refurbishment Standards

Every vintage electronic tells a story, and our mission is to help preserve that story for years to come.

Whenever possible, electronics sold by Fig's Vintage Vault are carefully cleaned, inspected, and tested before being offered for sale. Each listing clearly identifies whether an item is Tested, Refurbished, Untested, or sold For Parts or Repair, so you always know exactly what you're purchasing.

Tested

Items marked Tested have been evaluated for their primary functions and confirmed to operate as described in the product listing.

Refurbished

Items labeled Certified Refurbished by Fig's Vintage Vault have undergone cleaning, inspection, and any necessary repairs to restore reliable operation. Cosmetic wear may still be present due to age unless otherwise noted.

Untested

Untested items have not been fully evaluated and are sold exactly as described. They may function perfectly or may require service. Please review each listing carefully before purchasing.
